[Explanation] The New Year's Day holiday in 2023 is coming.

According to data from several travel platforms, with the continuous optimization and adjustment of epidemic prevention and control policies, popular long-distance travel destinations in China have begun to recover rapidly. Sanya has become one of the most popular destinations for tourists, and the number of air tickets and hotel bookings has increased significantly year-on-year.

The popularity of the two traditional winter events of "skiing" and "hot spring" remains unabated.

Themes such as skiing and hot springs may attract more attention, and some more private ones, such as themed homestays and holiday homes, which are relatively private travel methods that do not have much contact with many people, should be said received some attention.

The proportion of inter-provincial travel orders in New Year's Day travel products has increased by nearly 30% compared with the same period last year.

In the past week, the average popularity (increase) of "skiing" in various places has also exceeded 100%, and "Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort" has attracted the most attention, with a 320% increase in popularity.

These hot spring hotels and homestays in Huizhou, Zhuhai, Yangjiang and other places are also very popular during the New Year's Day.

[Explanation] In addition, the optimization and adjustment of entry-exit policies will also bring major benefits to the tourism market in 2023.

Han Jie said that the number of inquiries on products related to outbound travel has increased significantly in the past two days, and many new products will be launched in succession in the future.

Judging from the news of the opening of entry and exit, the number of inquiries from consumers has been very large so far, and our visa bookings have also increased by 300%.

From a data point of view, it is still biased towards the short-term market.

Like some islands in Southeast Asia, including Japan and South Korea.

Especially some visa-free destinations, such as the Maldives, Bali, including Phuket with visa-on-arrival, etc.

These warmer visa-free islands should be said to be favored by customers.

From the perspective of travel methods, so far, it is still partial to private customization and independent travel.

[Explanation] Han Jie said that this adjustment has really put the desire to travel abroad that has been suppressed for three years on the agenda.

The overall recovery of China's tourism market in 2023 may start from the Spring Festival holiday.

During the Spring Festival, it should be said that some customers may leave the country, and they have chosen to come (apply for) visas as soon as possible to arrange their travel abroad.

So we think it is still a very good situation so far.

Of course, there will be a process for outbound tourism (recovery). If we think about it, we may start with short-distance and short-distance markets, such as Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea, and gradually start to recover.
