The State’s General Authority of Civil Aviation issued the first national regulation in the world related to vertical runways equipped with clean energy (Vertiports) to support the rapid developments and continuous global investments in the advanced aviation industry.
This regulation covers the design and operational requirements for helipads equipped with clean energy, while ensuring a regulatory environment that supports the effective and safe operation of helicopters equipped with clean energy (VTOL / eVTOL). Accordingly, the aviation sector has been notified of the proposed amendments to the regulation for consultation with the aviation sector, and it will be published later in its version. final in the first quarter of 2023.
