Gong Ling, general manager of Tesla China, told reporters that Shanghai and Tesla have a deep relationship, and Tesla's first super charging station in China has landed. Pudong Jinqiao, the first experience center in East China was also put into operation in Shanghai, and Tesla's first overseas factory was completed in Shanghai.

  Up to now, after 9 years, Tesla has built and opened more than 1,500 super charging stations and 10,000 super charging piles in mainland China, with more than 700 destination charging stations and more than 1,900 destination charging piles. The exclusive private charging pile installed for Tesla owners on the Internet, Tesla has built "mainly home charging piles and super charging piles, supplemented by destination charging piles, supplemented by third-party charging piles and universal mobile chargers" All-scenario charging solution.

  Tesla China stated that at present, all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government in China have completed full coverage, and have established a wide-ranging and criss-crossing charging network in more than 320 prefecture-level cities. The highland of car ownership has built a "15-minute charging life circle".

  Gong Ling said that from the perspective of energy structure, Tesla has vigorously explored the application of clean energy, and successively built super charging stations integrating light, storage and charging in Lhasa and Shanghai.

Tesla is committed to improving people's dependence on fossil fuels from the root of energy generation, making solar energy, a clean energy source, a direct source of energy for Tesla owners, and exploring new channels and applications for deepening the reform of new energy.

  According to data from the China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance, as of September 2022, the total number of charging piles in the country has reached 4.488 million, a year-on-year increase of 101.9%.

During the same period, the number of new energy vehicles in China reached 11.49 million, and the vehicle-to-pile ratio reached 2.56:1.
