The monitoring, which was carried out according to the data of the Ministry of Economy regarding recall operations, showed that there are defects that can be fixed immediately, without waiting for an appointment with the concerned car agency, while there are other defects that require car owners to wait until the necessary spare parts are available for them from abroad, and then wait. It also showed that there are about 37 basic defects in car parts, behind the withdrawal and recall of cars, and some of them result from a defect in several systems and programs, so that they do not comply with the required specifications in this regard, and the defects concentrated mainly in:Airbags, Brakes, Brake Booster, Brake Pedal, Transmission, Engine, ECU, Traction Control Module, Fuel Tank, TPMS Sensor, Torque Sensor, Car Seats, Oil, GIS, Communication Module, Brake Fluid Reservoir, Front Shock Absorber, Power Steering Coupling, Primary and Secondary Fuel Filters, Seat Belt Vehicle underbody insulators, windshield wipers, seals and crash sensors, as well as defects in the front and rear doors, wheels, front and rear steering column, body corners, automatic locking, vision cameras, vehicle signaling systems, lamps, seats, and unavailability of front and rear carpets.

According to the Ministry's data, these defects may result in loss of vehicle control, leakage of fuel, water and oil, obscuring vision, loss of driving force, swinging, veering or vibration of vehicles, and increasing the risk of fires, accidents, collisions and injuries.

The Ministry noted that the vehicle sector is one of the largest sectors witnessing recall operations, explaining that the process of recalling defective consumer goods and services from the market includes three main steps: discovering the commodity, then verifying it, and recalling it from the market, and the Department of Competition and Consumer Protection in the Ministry of Economy carries out its implementation. and supervise it, in cooperation with the relevant authorities.

And she stressed that the commodity recall service allows suppliers, manufacturers, and agents of the commodity to report defective commodities by filling out the recall form to withdraw those defective or dangerous commodities from the market, and the service allows all members of society to view these commodities and search for commodities that do not conform to specifications and standards, which harm the consumer.
