(Fighting New Coronary Pneumonia) From rural areas to cities, China has taken multiple measures to strengthen medical treatment and drug supply

China News Agency, Beijing, December 23 (Reporter Li Chun) New Year's Day and Spring Festival are approaching, and epidemic prevention and control in rural areas must be planned in advance, especially to ensure timely referral of critically ill patients.

At the same time, in the face of the rapid growth of newly infected people, many cities began to distribute antipyretic drugs free of charge to relieve the urgent needs of residents.

From rural areas to cities, China is taking multiple measures to strengthen medical treatment and drug supply to ensure a smooth and orderly adjustment of prevention and control measures.

Layout of rural epidemic prevention and control

Jiao Yahui, director of the Department of Medical Affairs of the National Health Commission, recently said that as New Year's Day and the Spring Festival are approaching, with the increase in the flow of people, the urban epidemic may spread to rural areas, increasing the pressure on rural epidemic prevention and control.

It is necessary to plan in advance, on the one hand, to allow the medicine to be distributed, and on the other hand, to allow the critically ill patients in rural areas, especially the elderly critically ill patients, to be transferred in time.

She pointed out that the role of medical treatment at the county hospital level should be strengthened.

The county hospital is the most important gateway to do a good job in rural medical treatment. All tertiary hospitals should also provide medical treatment in different areas, and establish a one-to-one support relationship with the county hospital.

During the two festivals, tertiary hospitals should strengthen guidance, and in special periods, personnel should be sent to county hospitals for key guidance.

At the same time, increase the intensity of tours and inspections in rural areas, early detection of changes in the health status of the elderly, and timely medical treatment.

At the county hospital level, it is necessary to make preparations including beds, equipment, facilities and personnel, and at the same time establish a support and referral mechanism between the city and the county.

Free distribution of antipyretic drugs in many places

Recently, some places have begun to distribute antipyretic drugs free of charge to meet the urgent needs of the people and meet the needs of medical consultation.

It is reported that in Zhoukou City, Henan Province, citizens can go to designated pharmacies to receive 10 tablets of ibuprofen antipyretic medicine for free with their ID cards.

This is the first batch of 130,000 antipyretic ibuprofen tablets purchased by the Zhoukou City Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters, and it entrusts designated pharmacies in Zhoukou City to distribute them for free.

Jilin City, Jilin Province also prepared 2 million tablets of antipyretic drugs, which will be distributed to citizens free of charge starting on the 22nd. Each person can receive 6 tablets for free with a valid ID card.

From the 21st to the 23rd, Haikou City, Hainan Province distributed 40,000 pills of antipyretics free of charge. Citizens can go to 42 designated pharmacies to get them, and each person is limited to 4 pills.

In addition, many places have recently launched other services to further meet the needs of the public for medical consultation.

For example, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province has driven mobile diagnosis and treatment vehicles into communities to provide services such as diagnosis, treatment and dispensing of medicines for residents with fever.

Hebi City in Henan Province and Suzhou City in Jiangsu Province converted some nucleic acid sampling houses into fever diagnosis and treatment stations to meet residents' needs for "nearest convenience" for medical treatment.

File a case to investigate drug price gouging

In addition to free distribution of anti-epidemic drugs, relevant departments have also seriously investigated and dealt with behaviors such as driving up drug prices under the epidemic.

According to media reports, a Chinese herbal medicine store in Longwan District, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province was investigated and dealt with by the market supervision department on December 20 due to suspicion of price gouging.

According to the report, during the special inspection of the quality and market order of medical devices related to the epidemic, law enforcement officers discovered that a Chinese herbal medicine store had repeatedly purchased 2.69 yuan (RMB, the same below)/bottle and 2.67 yuan/bottle from different channels in March, October, and November this year. bottle, 3.2 yuan/bottle, 73 bottles of ibuprofen tablets with a specification of 100 tablets/bottle were purchased, and the original selling price was 15 yuan/bottle.

Since December 18, due to the shortage of "ibuprofen" in the market, pharmacies sold it in pieces. First, they sold 50 tablets for 85 yuan, and then increased to 85 yuan for 30 tablets.

The ibuprofen tablets with an average cost of 2.69 yuan were sold, equivalent to 283.3 yuan per bottle, more than a hundred times, equivalent to 1888% of the previous price.
