It is reported by RIA Novosti.

According to Novak, if European “colleagues want no gas in Europe, it is transported to other markets, then they introduce ceiling restrictions.”

He noted that before talking about a possible response to such a move, Russia needs to study all the EU legal documents on the gas price ceiling, which are not yet available.

Earlier, the Minister for the Environment, Energy and Enterprise of Malta, Miriam Dalli, said that the energy ministers of the EU member states agreed on a gas price cap of €180 per MWh.

It will take effect on February 15th.
