A strike by Corsair pilots, scheduled to start on Friday, was finally suspended after discussions between the union and management, the company announced on Thursday.

“A strike movement had been called by the SNPL (National Union of Airline Pilots) from December 16 to 22, 2022. After discussions between management and the SNPL, this strike movement was suspended”, Corsair indicated on Thursday in a statement.

“All flights will be operated, with no change in flight schedules for customers,” he adds.

A myriad of strike notices were filed as the Christmas holidays approached in several transport companies, against a backdrop of negotiations including wages and working conditions.
