The day after the hanging of the young Mohsen Shekari, found guilty of having attacked a member of the security forces and of having tried to block traffic at the start of the protest movement, the Iranian authorities have further hardened the tone with regard to Iranian protesters.

During a meeting with the families of the security forces killed in recent months, President Raisi affirmed that the authorities would "
act with determination to identify, try and punish the troublemakers
", a term used by the authorities to identify those who carried out violent actions during the protests over the past three months.
The Iranian president's statement comes as many Western countries have condemned the hanging of Mohsen Shekari and despite the many reactions on social networks.

But obviously, the power has decided to harden the tone to try to put an end to the protest movement.
Along the same lines,
Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami
, a senior Iranian cleric, thanked Justice for his determination and for sending young Mohsen Shakeri to the post, in the words he used.
In these conditions, we can fear new hangings in the coming days.
Indeed, the head of the judiciary affirmed last Sunday that the death sentence of several people had been confirmed by the supreme court and will be applied soon.
