"Dubai Financial" profits 2.98 billion dirhams at the end of the week's trading

The Dubai Financial Market gained more than 2.98 billion dirhams at the close of trading today, Friday, supported by the gains of some leading stocks in the banking, real estate, transportation and investment sectors, while the Abu Dhabi Securities Market closed at a level of 10216 points.

The market capital of the listed shares reached 3.244 trillion dirhams, distributed by 2.661 trillion dirhams for the shares listed in the Abu Dhabi market and 583.638 billion dirhams for the shares listed in the Dubai market.

The local stock markets attracted a surge of liquidity during the weekend trading, exceeding 1.27 billion dirhams, with a trading volume of 255.83 million shares, through the execution of 15.46 thousand transactions.

The Dubai Financial Market index rose by 0.3% at 3325 points, coinciding with the rise in "Emaar Properties" by 0.7% at 6.13 dirhams.

The share of "Union Properties" rose by 1.5% at 0.274 dirhams, while the share of "Salik" rose by 2.1% at 2.38 dirhams, while the share of "Dubai Islamic" decreased by 0.2% at 5.60 dirhams.

On the weekly level, the Dubai market index rose by about one point compared to its closing in the last session before the Martyr's Day holiday and the Union Day.

On the other hand, the Abu Dhabi Securities Market index declined by 0.2%, at 10216 points, coinciding with the decline of the “TAQA” share by 3.2%, at 3.63 dirhams.

The "Yahsat" share decreased by 0.4% at 2.74 dirhams, while the "Vertiglobe" share rose by 0.5% at 4.32 dirhams.

The share of "ADNOC Distribution" rose by 1.1% at 4.53 dirhams, while the share of "Multiplay", which topped the list of the most traded shares, reached 4.98 dirhams, with transactions exceeding 26 million shares.

On the weekly level, the Abu Dhabi market index fell by 329 points, or 3%, compared to its closing in the last session before the holiday last week.
