In June 2020, 23-year-old Liu Shanshan returned to his hometown after graduating from the University of Birmingham, majoring in international accounting and finance.
He found that the local people like to raise cattle and sheep, but only relying on traditional breeding, the economic benefits are not high, so he came up with the idea of establishing a breeding cooperative and using the power of science and technology to develop a modern breeding industry, so as to drive more workers to increase their income and become rich.
Liu Shanshan took the initiative to find the "two committees" of the company, told the company cadres of his ideas and development plans, and received their strong support.
In October of the same year, Liu Shanshan registered and established the Ten Thousand Sheep Breeding Farmers Professional Cooperative in Tumushuke City. He invited a professional team to upgrade and transform the company's idle breeding area of more than 300 square meters, introduced equipment, improved technology, and established disinfection rooms and breeding rooms. , improve the manure treatment facilities.

In the first year of the cooperative's establishment, only 3 households joined, and the breeding scale was less than 500.
Liu Shanshan was not discouraged. He studied breeding knowledge hard, visited large farms and consulted breeding experts. He grew from a layman who didn't know anything about breeding to a breeding expert, and gradually explored a scientific breeding path.
"When I first came back from abroad, I didn't realize that the development of the entire animal husbandry industry would fall on my shoulders. Then the company leaders and regiment leaders told me a lot about the current development status of our regiment's animal husbandry and gave me Treat animal husbandry as an industry." Liu Shanshan said, gradually made me realize this social responsibility, based on my ability, I will lead some local people to develop modern breeding relying on the power of science and technology industry, so that everyone can share the dividends brought about by development.
Today, 14 households in Shilian have joined Liu Shanshan's breeding cooperative, and the breeding scale has grown to more than 2,200.
