To support the global growth of the advanced air transport sector, and to accelerate efforts to adopt electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft.

V Ports signed an exclusive 25-year contract, renewable for the same period, with the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project, to establish an advanced air transport hub on an area of ​​37,000 square meters in Dubai South.

The project, which involves an initial investment of $40 million over three years, is expected to generate direct gross revenues of up to $7 billion for Dubai and Abu Dhabi over 25 years, as well as providing 1,500 direct jobs.

The development and construction of the global center will start in 2023, with expectations that it will start operating and conduct the first test flight in 2024.

The Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project, Tahnoun Saif, expressed his happiness at signing the agreement with “V Ports” in order to develop the first unified center of its kind in the world, and to pave the way for manufacturers of electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft and their operators around the world to use the experimental facilities. leading in various conditions.
