The Korea Cement Association announced yesterday (6th) that cement shipments were 167,500 tons, 93% of the usual level.

After the government's order to start business on the 29th of last month, non-union borrowers started working, and shipments increased rapidly.

The daily container import and export volume at 12 major ports across the country also recovered to 99% of normal.

Gwangyang Port, which was virtually suspended, is also rapidly increasing as traffic has been normalized since yesterday.

The government believes that the strike force is declining, saying that the number of participants in the rally related to the general strike of the cargo union has decreased by about 46% compared to the launch ceremony.

However, damage to the oil refining and steel industries, which are disrupting product shipments, continues.

In particular, only 5% of petrochemical exports are shipped during normal times.

The strike by the cargo unions, which has continued for the second week, has resulted in losses in major industries estimated by the government reaching 3.5 trillion won.

Accordingly, the government is known to hold an extraordinary cabinet meeting tomorrow and issue an order to start additional operations.

The government filed a complaint with the police against a truck driver who did not comply with the order to start business in the cement sector, and requested an administrative measure from the local government.

The Cargo Regiment started a propaganda campaign in various parts of the city from today.

In front of the National Assembly, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in Sejong City, and the headquarters of the three oil refineries in Seoul, we plan to claim the legitimacy of this strike and continue propaganda campaigns and sit-in protests against the business start order.
