China News Agency, Beijing, December 5th (Liu Wenwen) On the 5th, the Nanba section of the Hanba South High-speed Railway, invested by Shudao Group and surveyed and designed by China Railway Fifth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. China's largest high-span high-low tower mixed girder high-speed railway cable-stayed bridge under construction - the Jialing River Super Bridge has officially entered the beam erection construction stage.

The main line of the Nanba section of the Hanbanan high-speed railway has a total length of 148 kilometers and a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour. Construction has started at the end of 2019.

The Northeast Sichuan region of China has always been known for its complex and unfavorable geology, dense regional rivers, and sensitive and changeable environment. The terrain conditions along the Nanchong-Bazhong section of the Hanbanan high-speed railway are the most complex.

During the construction process, the Fifth Railway Institute gave full play to its technical advantages and adhered to the design concept of "environmentally friendly and geological route selection", which greatly reduced the impact of the project on the local ecological environment and basic farmland, and ensured the coordination of station type, bridge and tunnel structure and scenic spots .

Among them, there are a total of 112 bridges on the main line of the Nanchong-Bazhong section, with a cumulative length of more than 43 kilometers; the Jialing River Bridge is a control project for the entire line.

According to Nie Liping, the person in charge of the Hanbanan high-speed railway bridge at the Fifth Railway Institute, the Jialing River has curved waterways, wide water surfaces, steep bank slopes, and is a Class III navigable channel. The comparison and selection of bridge positions finally adopted the high-low tower hybrid girder cable-stayed bridge structure across the Jialing River. The bridge has a total length of 601.5 meters, and the main span length of 335 meters has become the largest span among similar high-speed railway bridges under construction in China.

Nie Liping said that the middle span of the Jialing River Bridge adopts a steel box girder structure, and the side span adopts a concrete box girder structure, which effectively improves the overall rigidity of the structure. The bridge towers present a "diamond-shaped" structure, and the heights of the two towers are 164.5 meters and 120 meters respectively. Meters high and low, the main towers with staggered heights blend with the topography and have smooth shapes and beautiful lines, which will become a beautiful landscape on the Jialing River.

It is understood that the Hanba South High-speed Railway is expected to be put into operation in May 2024. After completion, it will break through the traffic bottlenecks that plagued the old revolutionary areas, and is of great significance to accelerate the integration of this area into the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.
