The government, which is continuing its hardline stance, continued to press, saying that an unconditional return is the only way out.

3,500 members of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions gathered in front of the inland container base in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province.

It is a general strike and all-out struggle contest of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions to support the cargo solidarity strike that has been going on for the 13th day.

[Hyeon Jeong-hee/Chairman of the Korean Confederation of Public Transport Unions: Didn't you promise like this?

We will continue the safe fare system and discuss expansion.

Why not discuss it?]

The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions simultaneously held large-scale rallies in 15 bases across the country, and the Construction Workers' Union and the Service Federation announced a strike in sympathy with the Cargo Solidarity.

[Han Sang-jin/Confederation of Trade Unions Spokesperson: We have decided to gather together as a rally to support, cover, and resist the cargo solidarity struggle in line with the situation of workplaces across the country.]

However, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Hyundai Steel, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering, etc. The ripple effect was not as great as expected as unions at large workplaces did not participate in the strike.

In addition, some of the strike cargo vehicles and tents near the entrance of Gwangyang Port, which were virtually suspended this morning, were also missing.

There was also an observation that there was a return to work, but the cargo union insisted that there was confusion and that there were no union members who left.

On the other hand, the government pressed the cargo union, saying that it had confirmed that 7 cement transport companies and 43 truck owners had resumed transport, which had been ordered to start work.

He also emphasized the unconditional comeback again.

[Won Hee- ryong

/Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport: After an unconditional return, the only way out is to resolve it through discussion within a legal framework.]

We are reviewing the commencement order.
