He said this at a video conference meeting with Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang.
“It is important that now almost half of our trade is carried out in national currencies,” TASS quoted him as saying.
He also expressed confidence that the transition to settlements in national currencies will only gain momentum.
Earlier, Turkey began to partially pay for Russian gas supplies in rubles.
