Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs: oil from Sakhalin-2 for Japan does not fall under the price ceiling

It is emphasized that the decision to withdraw oil from Sakhalin-2 from under the price ceiling was made taking into account the "point of view of Japan's energy security."

Earlier it was reported that Australia and the G7 countries reached an agreement on the ceiling price of Russian oil at $60 per barrel.
