  The document clearly states that without the approval of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission and its dispatched agencies, no legal person or unincorporated organization may use the word "bank" in its name, unless otherwise stipulated by international financial organizations, central banks, multilateral development institutions, and countries.

Natural persons (including individual industrial and commercial households) shall not use the word "bank" in their names for profit-making purposes or in a manner that may mislead the public, unless otherwise provided by law.

  Circumstances in which the word "bank" cannot be used in the name without approval includes: (1) the full name and abbreviation of the name of a legal person or an unincorporated organization; (2) a trademark name; (3) a name of a product, business or service; Website name, Internet user account name, mobile Internet application name; (5) Other circumstances.

  In addition, the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission and its dispatched agencies should strengthen monitoring of the use of the word "bank" within their jurisdiction.
