The government predicted that the third week of January would be the period with the highest demand for electricity this winter.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy predicted that peak power demand would rise to 94 gigawatts in the third week of January, surpassing the all-time high demand recorded in December last year.

However, this year's supply capacity has been expanded to 109 gigawatts, an increase of 5.5 gigawatts from last year, so it is analyzed that there will be no problem with power supply.
