China News Service, December 1st (China News Finance and Economics Ge Cheng) The good news about the domestically produced large aircraft C919 continues, and we are one step closer to taking the domestically produced large aircraft.

Recently, the Civil Aviation Administration of China announced that the C919 aircraft has completed the T5 test and was awarded the AEG review report; China Commercial Aircraft Corporation announced that the C919 large passenger aircraft has been awarded a production license.

It is of great significance to pass the "two passes" again

"The news announced by the Civil Aviation Administration and China Commercial Aircraft Corporation means that the C919 has passed two more hurdles, which is of great significance." Qi Qi, a special expert of the China Aviation Association's transportation expert think tank and deputy dean of the School of Economics and Management of Guangzhou Civil Aviation Vocational and Technical College, was accepted by Sinonews Finance and Economics said in the interview.

Qi Qi said that, on the one hand, the C919 aircraft completed the T5 test and was awarded the AEG review report, which shows that the Civil Aviation Administration recognizes the airline's ability to guarantee aircraft operations from a safety perspective; on the other hand, COMAC was awarded the C919 large passenger aircraft The production license shows that the Civil Aviation Administration recognizes that COMAC is qualified to mass-produce airworthy aircraft from a market perspective.

The full name of the T5 test is the Flight Standardization Committee type rating training specification test. It is a key task in the process of new aircraft type aircraft operation conformity review (ie AEG review), and it is also a comprehensive inspection of the type design and manufacturer's system.

Civil aviation expert Li Hanming told Zhongxin Finance and Economics that after the aircraft manufacturer manufactures the aircraft, it needs to design corresponding training courses for the carrier to learn and master.

T5 test is one of the specific processes, mainly for the certification of newly developed models with no comparable models, and it is also the certification process with the most projects and the most comprehensive coverage.

Li Hanming said that the T5 test is part of the AEG review, and the Civil Aviation Administration will confirm whether the training course design complies with the requirements of civil aviation laws and regulations, so as to ensure that pilots and maintenance engineers can safely fly and maintain C919 aircraft after learning.

More pilots will get C919 "driver's license"

According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the first batch of pilots, flight instructors and inspectors of the new aircraft can obtain type qualifications after the completion of the T5 test, which is of great significance to the delivery and operation of the new aircraft and subsequent flight safety.

After the completion of the T5 test, 15 pilots, including the flight instructors of the COMAC customer service center, have obtained the type qualification of the C919 aircraft, which also marks that the C919 aircraft will soon be put into operation.

"Pilots need to meet the corresponding standards in the simulation and actual flight time before they can obtain the corresponding aircraft type qualification." Qi Qi said that this is equivalent to a car's driver's license.

Qualified pilots can hold a certificate to fly C919 aircraft.

More pilots will obtain the above qualifications in the future.

On the 30th, China New Finance and Economics learned from China Eastern Airlines that among the first batch of 15 pilots who obtained the C919 aircraft type qualification, 3 pilots were from Eastern Airlines.

The first C919 aircraft will be delivered to China Eastern Airlines in December this year.

On November 8, the C919 large passenger aircraft performed an air show at the opening ceremony of the 14th China International Aviation and Aerospace Expo.

Aircraft delivery is the next big thing

"The delivery of the aircraft is the next important node." Li Hanming said that after receiving the aircraft, China Eastern Airlines needs to pass the corresponding certification and assessment process formulated by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, such as route verification, before it can obtain the official business qualification from the Civil Aviation Administration of China.

For details, please refer to the previous commercial operation process of COMAC regional aircraft ARJ21.

According to the official account information of COMAC, on November 29, 2015, the first ARJ21 aircraft of COMAC was officially delivered to Chengdu Airlines. After completing more than 100 hours of safety verification flight, it was put into commercial maiden flight on June 28, 2016. .

Li Hanming said that at present, China Eastern Airlines has three pilots who have obtained the C919 aircraft type qualification, which is enough to meet the initial flight needs.

In addition, in terms of time-consuming safety verification flight, there is not much difference between C919 large aircraft and ARJ21 regional aircraft.

Previously, Wang Jian, secretary of the board of directors of China Eastern Airlines, revealed at the third-quarter online performance briefing that the company is actively making preparations for the operation of C919.
