Data show that the number of counties (cities) with a GDP exceeding 100 billion has increased to 42, distributed in 11 provinces.

  The list is compiled by the Jixia Think Tank based on the indicator system of the "China County Economic Development Report" issued by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences' Institute of Financial and Economic Strategy.

Along with the list, there is also a county economic research report based on 400 sample counties (cities) across the country.

There are 61 seats in the top 100 counties (cities) of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shandong

  The list shows that the top 10 counties (cities) in national comprehensive competitiveness are Kunshan City, Jiangyin City, Zhangjiagang City, Changshu City, Jinjiang City, Yiwu City, Yixing City, Taicang City, Cixi City and Zhuji City.

  The list also shows that the top 100 counties (cities) in national comprehensive competitiveness are distributed in 16 provinces (cities), and the number of top 100 counties (cities) in the three provinces of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shandong reaches 61.

  Specifically, Jiangsu and Zhejiang's top 100 counties (cities) each have 24 seats, ranking first.

Followed by Shandong, the number of top 100 counties (cities) increased from 12 in the previous year to 13.

Then there is Fujian, with 8 counties (cities) in the top 100.

Hubei has increased by 4 seats compared with the previous year, and has 5 seats with Henan.

The numbers of Anhui and Hunan remain unchanged, with 4 seats each.

The number of top 100 counties (cities) in Hebei remained unchanged at 3 seats.

Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia and Liaoning each have 2 seats, and the numbers are also the same as the previous year.

The top 100 counties (cities) in Guizhou decreased by 1 seat compared with the previous year, and Sichuan and Jiangxi each had 1 seat. The number of top 100 counties (cities) in Guangdong also increased to 1 seat.

Zhejiang counties (cities) have leading investment potential

  The list shows that the top 10 counties (cities) in terms of investment potential in the country are Deqing County, Taicang City, Jiashan County, Yiwu City, Zhengding County, Anji County, Kunshan City, Daishan County, Changshu City and Zhangjiagang City.

A total of 46 top 100 counties (cities) for investment potential are also top 100 counties (cities) for comprehensive competitiveness.

  The list also shows that the top 100 counties with investment potential are distributed in 18 provinces, and the investment potential of Zhejiang counties (cities) is far ahead.

  Specifically, Zhejiang has the largest number of investment potential top 100 counties (cities), reaching 27, Anhui also has 13, and Jiangsu has 12.

The top 100 counties (cities) with investment potential in Sichuan and Shandong each have 7 seats, and Hebei and the following ones have 6 seats.

Fujian, Guangdong and Hunan have the same number, each with 5 seats.

Among the remaining provinces, Henan has 3 seats, Xinjiang and Shanxi each have 2 seats, and Yunnan, Shaanxi, Qinghai, Jiangxi, Heilongjiang and Guangxi each have 1 seat.

The top 400 GDP increased by 8.42% year-on-year

  According to the list, based on the research of 400 sample counties (cities), it is found that in 2021, the economic growth rate of the counties will pick up significantly, the counties (cities) in the eastern region will still have strong momentum, and the growth rate of the counties (cities) in the central region that has recovered from the impact of the epidemic will rebound sharply.

  The list pointed out that the overall economic growth rate of the 400 sample counties (cities) rebounded significantly, and the rate was slightly smaller than the national level.

In 2021, the total GDP of the 400 sample counties (cities) will be 23.74 trillion yuan, an actual year-on-year increase of 8.42%, an increase of 5.61 percentage points from the previous year

four major regions showed restorative growth, and the counties (cities) in the central region showed the largest recovery.

The GDP of the sample counties (cities) in the eastern region, central region, western region and northeast region increased by 8.62%, 8.51%, 7.75% and 6.62% year-on-year in real terms, respectively, which were 4.98 percentage points, 7.23 percentage points, 5.11 percentage points and 5.11 percentage points higher than the previous year. 4.97 percent.

Mainly due to the low base of the previous year, the growth rate of zero total social consumer goods in 400 sample counties (cities) will reach 14.0% in 2021, an increase of 17.0 percentage points from the previous year.

Among them, the overall growth rate of counties (cities) in the central region is the highest, and the recovery rate is also the largest.

The growth rate of the total retail sales of social consumer goods in sample counties (cities) in Sichuan reached 17.0%, the highest among the 27 sample provinces.

  The list also shows that the growth rate of investment is higher than the national average, but the sample counties (cities) in Northeast China fluctuate greatly.

In 2021, the average growth rate of social fixed asset investment in 400 sample counties (cities) will be 8.8%, which is 5.2 percentage points higher than the average growth rate of 3.6% in 400 sample counties (cities) in 2020, which is not only significantly higher than the national growth rate of 4.9%. The recovery rate of the average growth rate is also significantly greater than the national recovery rate of 2.0 percentage points.

The average growth rate of social fixed asset investment in the sample counties (cities) in Northeast China has dropped from 7.5% in the previous year to -1.3%, which is the only region where the growth rate has dropped. In 2020, it will be the only region where the growth rate has rebounded, with large fluctuations .

  The list pointed out that the overall growth rate of public fiscal revenue has rebounded sharply, but the proportion of provinces with negative growth is still relatively high.

In 2021, the overall growth rate of public finance revenue of the 400 sample counties (cities) will be 10.6%, an increase of 9.3 percentage points.

In terms of regions, the overall growth rate of local public finance revenue in the sample counties (cities) in the western region was the highest, reaching 13.6%, an increase of 12.1 percentage points over the previous year.

The overall growth rate of the local public finance revenue of the sample counties (cities) in the central region was 11.9%, an increase of 15.0 percentage points from the previous year, the largest increase.

However, despite the overall recovery in the growth rate of public fiscal revenue, 4 of the 27 provinces in the sample counties (cities) still showed negative growth.

The per capita income of 17 counties (cities) exceeds 70,000 yuan
