The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation announced on the 24th that the cost of kimchi for 20 heads of cabbage was 210,470 won, down 2.1 percent from a week ago.



Compared to the end of November last year, the price fell 12.1 percent, showing a stable trend at a lower level than last year.



The price of cabbage, which is increasing in shipments in the peak season, also fell 5.1 percent from last week to 58,605 won per 20 heads, and prices of radish, chives, and garlic also fell.



However, the price of some seasoned vegetables has risen, and the prices of green onions and ginger have risen by 3.6 percent and 2.9 percent, respectively, from last week.



The government plans to continuously supply stockpiled items such as dried peppers, garlic, onions, and salt to the market during the kimchi-making season.
