How is the list generated?

According to the team that released the list, the list is based on the Scopus database, which scores scholars based on multiple indicators such as total citations, H index, and Hm index, and then ranks scholars based on the scores.

The rankings mentioned in this article are all rankings obtained after removing the factor of self-citing papers.

The team said that if an academic is not on the list, just because his grades are not high enough, it does not mean that his work is not good.
