This crisis did not arise today and not now, as the President of Russia rightly noted, the unprofessional policy of some Western countries led to it, the parliamentarian added.

According to Belik, these countries acted too arrogantly and did not fully understand the consequences of their activities, and now the embargo and sanctions have only exacerbated the situation.

“Now the West is trying to justify the problems in the food market with a special military operation in order to shift the focus from the true causes of these problems, but the blame for the global food crisis lies precisely on the shoulders of the West,” the RT interlocutor concluded.

Earlier, Putin said that the adventurous policy of Western countries led to an imbalance in the food situation.
