The CEO of Flydubai, Ghaith Al-Ghaith, confirmed that all the carrier's flights departing from Dubai to Doha International Airport, morning and afternoon, yesterday, were completely full, indicating that this trend will continue in the coming days and weeks.
Al-Ghaith said in a statement on the launch of flydubai's "Match Day" flights from Dubai World Central Airport to the Qatari capital, Doha: "It is a happy day for all those who have worked tirelessly over the past few months, for the success of launching these special flights to Doha».
He added, “(Flydubai) is proud to enable more football fans to easily travel to Doha, to participate in the most exciting football tournament in the world .. Al-Ghaith continued: “All our flights departing to Doha International Airport in the morning and in the afternoon were almost completely full.

Al-Ghaith thanked Qatar Airways for its partnership with Flydubai to make these flights a reality, and thanked Dubai Airports Corporation for ensuring the smooth flow of traffic at Dubai World Central Airport, to meet the needs of these flights, which amount to 30 daily flights.
He continued, "I also thank the (Fly Dubai) team, which works hard and around the clock, to support these flights, and to ensure a smooth start for football fans on their journey."
