The "Notice" shows that the specific subsidy period and standard are: the cash subsidy period for returning farmland to forest is extended by 5 years, and the subsidy standard is 500 yuan per mu, and the subsidy standard is 100 yuan per mu per year; the cash subsidy period for returning farmland to grassland is extended by 3 years, and the subsidy standard is per mu 300 yuan per mu, 100 yuan per mu per year.
In principle, the cash subsidy will be issued to the original land contractor if it involves the collectively-owned land of farmers, and the transfer of farmland to forest and grassland will be issued according to the contract.
If the cash subsidy policy has expired, the subsidy should be paid in one lump sum in 2022.
Subsidy funds are issued in strict accordance with the county-level acceptance results confirmed by the national and provincial forestry and grass departments, and are linked to management and protection responsibilities.
