's friendly economy time.

Reporter Han Ji-yeon is here.

Yesterday (3rd), the price of milk and crude oil rose.

But what about the price increase this year and next year?

<Reporter>

Yes, first of all, the price of crude oil will rise by 52 won per liter this year.

In this way, it becomes 999 won, which is less than 1,000 won per liter.

But, as you said, next year, we will raise 49 won, which is 3 won less than this.

Originally, 49 won was the basic price increase, but it was decided to reflect the fact that the price was not adjusted for 3 months.

So, from the 16th of last month to the end of the year, we decided to pay an additional 3 won per liter for production.

Next year's crude oil price will be applied at 996 won, which has been lowered by 3 won.

To explain how the price of crude oil has been determined so far, it is difficult to adjust production because crude oil is obtained from cows, and if it is not sold, it must be thrown away.

In order to reduce damage to farmers, the government has set prices based on production cost rather than supply-demand.

This is the 'crude price indexation system'. According to the milk production price announced by the National Statistical Office in May every year, the price of crude oil is usually determined in August.

However, this year, the negotiations became longer as the reform of the dairy system to improve the 'production cost indexing system' coincided.

So, how much will the consumer price of milk rise?

<

Since the price of crude oil has risen, it seems that milk companies will raise product prices soon.

Usually, the consumer price of milk is applied at about 10 times the increase in the price of crude oil.

When the price of crude oil rose by 21 won last year, it was reflected in the consumer price from 150 won to 200 won.

If this happens, the current price of milk, which is 2,700 won per liter, will exceed 3,000 won.

The problem isn't just the price of milk.

There are many products that contain milk.

Concerns are emerging about 'milkflation', leading to prices of products such as ice cream, bread and coffee.

However, from next year, according to the reform of the system, the price of processed milk for drinking milk, such as drinking milk and cheese butter, will be charged separately.

Kakao Taxi late-night call rates have risen since last night?

<Reporter>

Yes, it has been raised to a maximum of 5,000 won.

It's Friday, so many of you must have an appointment, so keep that in mind.

Affiliated taxis such as Kakao T Blue in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. charge up to 5,000 won in calling charges.

In addition, general brokerage taxis such as Kakao T can now charge a calling fee.

If you use this service, you have to pay up to 4,000 won, but like when you call Kakao T Blue, the destination is not displayed to the taxi driver.

Calling rates adjust flexibly as demand increases. For example, near Gangnam Station in Seoul at midnight on Fridays, when crowded with people trying to catch a taxi, you are more likely to pay the maximum.

But that doesn't mean that free calls are gone.

You can use it as is.

Passengers can also choose to pay a calling fee and call a taxi.

, but if you make a toll-free call, there's a very high chance you won't get caught, especially.

In Seoul, the late-night taxi fare will also increase from next month?

<Reporter>

Yes, in February next year, taxi fares in Seoul will go up by 1,000 won more from the current 3,800 won.

The surcharge is applied two hours earlier from midnight, starting at 10 pm.

The premium rate will also increase to a maximum of 40% from 11pm to 2am, when there are many passengers.

If you do the math, the basic rate at night during peak hours will go up from 4,600 won to 5,300.

If this happens, the calculation comes out that in the month after many year-end parties, you will have to pay 10,000 won just to call a taxi in Seoul during late-night peak hours.

If the basic rate is raised in February next year, the late-night basic rate will rise to a maximum of 6,700 won.
