——Lack of two quality grades

  Although the crab card was successfully exchanged, Bobo (pseudonym), a consumer who recently received hairy crabs, was not happy.

  In real life, there are not a few who have the same experience with the above-mentioned consumers.

  Jiangsu Province is one of the main producing areas of hairy crabs. In the third quarter of 2022, the Consumer Complaints and Public Opinion Analysis Report of the Jiangsu Provincial Consumer Protection Committee showed that a total of 324 complaints about crab cards and crab coupons were received, and 19,700 public opinion information was received.

Mainly focus on: there are many high-standard and low-selling patterns, and the exchange information is unclear; the card and coupon exchange is difficult and cannot be used normally; the quality control of hairy crabs is poor and the quality is not good.

Crab coupons become "empty crabs", who is playing tricks?

  Crab itself is a fresh food, and it is not easy to store and transport. The issuance of crab card and crab coupons can not only solve the problem of fresh and perishable food, but also help merchants to return funds from marketing in advance.

At the same time, the purchaser and user of crab card and crab coupons can be separated, which is more convenient for holiday gifting, so it has become the choice of many people.

  But the crab card and crab coupons, which are convenient for consumers, have become "empty crabs"?

  Yang Weilong, the first president of the Yangcheng Lake Hairy Crab Industry Association, once said that the coupons are collected in advance, and according to the amount, the merchants arrange each year.

After some merchants received the money, they were short of two pounds, and even ran away.

  This also leads to a phenomenon that consumers often encounter: when redeeming, merchants will set up "heavy checkpoints", so that you can't make or delay the appointment, and eventually the validity period of the crab card may be delayed.

The crab is gone, can I defend my rights?

  Merchants use various means to make consumers fall into the situation of "one card is in hand, crabs are hard to find". What kind of legal responsibility does such a behavior bear?

  As for some merchants pretending to be Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs, in Liu Junhai's view, "This is suspected of defrauding consumers. According to the provisions of Article 55 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law, they should be compensated three times."

  But in real life, when consumers encounter the above situation and want to return or pay, they often encounter various resistances.

  Bobo told reporters that the commodity interface promises to go to the rope for weighing, and the lack of weight will only be compensated, and you can enjoy "one for two" once a month.
