The most expensive villa in Dubai ever sold for 600 million dirhams

Bloomberg reported that the second richest man in India had bought another beachside villa in Dubai, breaking his previous record for the most expensive residential real estate deal in the city within months, according to people familiar with the matter.

Mukesh Ambani bought a villa in Palm Jumeirah last week for about $163 million (600 million dirhams) from the family of Kuwaiti businessman Mohammed Al-Shaya.

In August, Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani's company, Reliance Industries, bought an $80 million (Dh294 million) beachfront villa in Dubai, the city's largest residential real estate deal ever.

The company bought the property, located on Palm Jumeirah, earlier this year, for Ambani's younger son, Anant.

This is the highest historical deal ever in Dubai, in terms of value, after it surpassed a deal that took place last month with a value of 302 million dirhams, which was considered the highest at the time.
