  According to reports, with the comprehensive efforts of Guangdong Province to stabilize foreign trade policies, as well as the continuous effectiveness of measures taken by the Customs to promote the stability and quality of foreign trade, and ensure the smooth circulation of the industrial chain and supply chain, in September, the volume of foreign trade imports and exports in Guangdong gradually picked up. At the same time, the volume of customs supervision business has also increased significantly.

  Statistics show that in September, the customs in Guangdong Province supervised about 13,000 inbound and outbound ships, an increase of about 10% month-on-month; freight vehicles in the direction of Guangdong and Hong Kong increased by about 9% month-on-month, and freight vehicles in the direction of Guangdong and Macao increased by about 67% month-on-month; import and export freight volume About 120 million tons, an increase of about 6% month-on-month.

  According to Wang Kan, Deputy Director of the Guangdong Branch of the General Administration of Customs, on the basis of strictly controlling the port epidemic prevention and control, the Customs has improved the efficiency of inspection and quarantine to support ships arriving at the port to start operations as soon as possible. The reform of "direct pickup and direct loading upon arrival" shortens the port operation time and ensures the efficient operation of port and shipping logistics.

From January to September this year, among the major hub ports in Guangdong Province, the foreign trade container throughput of Yantian Port increased by about 2% year-on-year; the foreign trade container throughput of Shenzhen Western Port Area increased by about 5% year-on-year; the foreign trade container throughput of Guangzhou Nansha Port increased year-on-year about 8%.

  At the same time, the reform of the customs clearance mode of "One Port in the Bay Area" and "Combined Ports in the Greater Bay Area" jointly launched with Guangzhou Port, Shekou Port, and Yantian Port continued to play a role, and the linkage effect of the Greater Bay Area port group continued to increase.

From January to September this year, the "One Port in the Bay Area" has covered 14 terminals, and the "Combined Port in the Greater Bay Area" has covered 23 terminals, and more than 267,000 TEUs of container cargo have passed through the "One Port Connect" and "Combined Ports" "modal transport.
