This is stated in a joint statement by the heads of state and government of the G7 countries.

“We are deeply concerned about the deliberate damage to the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 pipelines in the international waters of the Baltic Sea and strongly condemn any deliberate destruction of critical infrastructure,” TASS said in a statement.

G7 leaders welcomed ongoing investigations into the incident.

Earlier, the Prime Minister of the Transitional Government of Sweden, Magdalena Andersson, said that the Swedish authorities do not plan to allow Russia to investigate the explosions on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, on the air of the 60 Minutes program on the Russia 1 TV channel, commented on Sweden's statements about Russia's non-admission to the investigation of the terrorist attacks on Nord Stream.
