The diplomatic mission emphasized that such a position of the Danish authorities regarding the ongoing investigation undermines the reliability of its future results.

“Limiting the circle of its participants to states that are either already members of NATO, or on the way to this alliance, turns the investigation into a politically biased one.

Under these conditions, the Russian side will explore the possibility of conducting an independent comprehensive investigation at the scene,” the embassy said in a statement.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that the Russian side should take part in the investigation of accidents at the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.

He also noted that Poland, the United States and Ukraine may be interested in accidents on the Nord Stream gas pipelines.

Ben Wallace, in an interview with The Telegraph, said that he opposed Russia's participation in the investigation of the explosions on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.
