Seo Il-joon of People's Power of the National Assembly Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee, 15 people, including 14 people who were ex officio and 1 dismissed person, were reinstated after winning the related lawsuits due to allegations of hiring corruption that occurred in 2017. turned out to be



The court ruled that SR's dismissal of employees at the time was 'unfair dismissal'.



Seven of them returned to work this year.



SR received a special audit from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport from November to December of the same year after allegations of recruitment corruption were raised in 2017, and the police investigation was also carried out the following year.



In this process, government ministries including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport prepared 'follow up measures for special inspection of public institutions' recruitment corruption and system improvement measures' to promptly expel those involved in recruitment irregularities.



The decision to reinstate 15 people this time was due to SR's administrative negligence.



According to the 'December 22, 2020 Seoul Administrative Court Judgment' obtained by Rep. Seo Il-joon, SR held a disciplinary committee to the victims at the time and did not have them present, but replaced them with the personnel committee on the same day for no particular reason and dismissed them from office. It happened.



In the judgment, the court said, "Even though this case should be conducted according to the disciplinary procedure, it was replaced by the personnel committee. It is an 'unfair dismissal' due to an injury or defect."



Afterwards, in the appeal filed by the SR side, the court also dismissed the appeal, stating that "disciplinary procedures cannot be omitted because of the dismissal of the employee."
