Patrushev: US is the beneficiary of sabotage at Nord Stream

He said this during a meeting in Sevastopol on topical issues of national security in Crimea.

According to him, "the sabotage committed on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines is nothing but an act of international terrorism, the consequences of which can be significant for the population of Europe."

“Obviously, the US is the beneficiary, primarily the economic one,” he said. 

Patrushev also spoke about the fundamentally different approaches of the West and Russia to the situation in Ukraine.
