  According to the report data, in 2021, the development index of the formal catering industry in 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) in mainland China will show a growth trend, and both the turnover and the number of stores will increase year-on-year.

The hot pot industry and tea beverage industry generally showed a growth trend.

Compared with other formats, the growth trend of fast food industry is more moderate.

  The bakery industry is polarized, with substantial growth in some places and signs of decline in others.

Among them, the year-on-year growth rate of bakery sales in Xinjiang ranks first in the mainland; the number of bakery stores in Tibet has the highest year-on-year growth rate.

  The scale of the barbecue industry has expanded significantly, and the year-on-year growth rate of the number of barbecue stores in many places is close to, equal to or exceeds 100%.

Among them, Qinghai Barbecue has the highest year-on-year growth rate in sales; Zhejiang Barbecue stores has the highest year-on-year growth rate.

  The report also specifically mentioned that, as an emerging industry, prefabricated dishes currently lack a large number of supporting standards.

In the context of advocating the development of standardization in all walks of life, the prefabricated vegetable industry may usher in a "standard tide" in the near future.
