8.2 billion dirhams of Dubai real estate transactions in a week
The value of real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department during the past week amounted to more than 8.2 billion dirhams.
The department witnessed the registration of 2,191 pledges of allegiance worth 5.38 billion dirhams, of which 123 pledged allegiance to land with a value of 949.17 million dirhams, and 2,068 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas worth 4.43 billion dirhams.
The most important land pledges worth 145 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, followed by a pledge of 86 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, followed by a 50 million dirhams pledge in the Gardens of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid area.
Al Habiyah Fifth District topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges, with 32 pledges of 75 million dirhams, followed by Jebel Ali First area with 20 pledges of 75 million dirhams, and third in Al Habiyah Fourth, with 18 pledges of 194 million dirhams.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, a pledge of 90 million dirhams was pledged in the Palm Jumeirah area, followed by a pledge of 38 million dirhams in the Dubai Marina area, and finally a pledge of 38 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area.
The Business Bay region topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, which recorded 277 pledges of 496 million dirhams, followed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens with 214 pledges of 390 million dirhams, and the third in Al-Markadh, with 149 pledges, worth 224 million dirhams.
Mortgages recorded a value of 2.2 billion dirhams, including 146 mortgages of land, worth 1.5 billion dirhams, and 284 mortgages of villas and apartments, worth 688.3 million dirhams.
As for the donations, 82 donations worth 699.94 million dirhams were registered, the most important of which were in the Burj Khalifa area with a value of 264 million dirhams and another in the Dubai Marina with a value of 208 million dirhams.
