The ministry also expressed its readiness to support the efforts of European countries to eliminate the potential impact of the incident on the environment.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia initiated the initiation of a case on an act of international terrorism after the accidents on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.
The case is being investigated by the Federal Security Service.
The location of physical damage to both Nord Stream lines has been determined; they are located in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark and Sweden.
