According to Zavalny, the repair of Russian pipelines can be done in two ways, the first of which requires a complex engineering underwater structure.

“Accordingly, the deadlines - the project, manufacturing, work - all this is not even months, it can take more time,” RIA Novosti quotes him.

The second option involves raising the pipelines and carrying out repairs on the surface.

This method will also take a lot of time, Zavalny noted.

According to him, there is no option by which Nord Stream could be repaired quickly.

Earlier, the Russian embassy in the United States said that Russia insists on a full and objective study of the circumstances of the incident with a gas leak on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.
