As Prime recalls, the documents submitted by the government to the State Duma along with the draft federal budget for 2023-2025 contained a deficit forecast of 0.9% of GDP.

Siluanov noted that the social obligations of the budget for the next years will be provided unconditionally.

“As for the new tasks, these are the tasks related to technological sovereignty, and the development of infrastructure and support for entrepreneurship – all this is also provided with the necessary funding,” the minister said.

The authorities also took into account the additional budget allocations that will be required, and the necessary resources are also provided for the restoration of the economy of the regions that have been destroyed as a result of actions by Ukraine.

At the same time, it is planned to index pensions and wages in the public sector.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said earlier that the West's attempt to limit the export of energy resources from the country led to an increase in oil and gas revenues of the Russian budget by almost 50%.
