Among them, the sales of welfare lottery institutions were 12.671 billion yuan, an increase of 1.220 billion yuan or 10.7% year-on-year; the sales of sports lottery institutions were 21.805 billion yuan, an increase of 647 million yuan or 3.1% year-on-year.

From January to August, a total of 247.909 billion yuan of lottery tickets were sold nationwide, a year-on-year increase of 617 million yuan or 0.2%.
Among them, the sales of welfare lottery institutions were 99.913 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.506 billion yuan or 10.5%; the sales of sports lottery institutions were 147.996 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 8.889 billion yuan or 5.7%.
