KOSPI fell below 2,200 for the first time in two years and two months.



As foreign and institutional investors sold more than 320 billion won worth of stocks, it fell 2.45% to 2,168.29 from yesterday.



The KOSDAQ fell further.



It fell 3.47% from yesterday to 673.87.



The entire Asian financial market was in the same mood.



Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell nearly 3%, while Taiwan's Autonomous Autonomous Index fell 2.6% and Japan's Nikkei fell 1.5%.



Today's situation is interpreted as a growing concern that the strong dollar phenomenon, in which only the dollar price soars alone, may have adverse effects on the global economy.



The Chinese yuan exchange rate once climbed to a 14-year high of 7.24 yuan to the dollar, adding to anxiety.



In the aftermath of this, the won-dollar exchange rate once rose to 1,442.2 won in the Seoul foreign exchange market, threatening the 1,450 won level.



In the end, the transaction was completed at 1,439.9 won, up 18.4 won from yesterday, but it is trading again over 1,440 won during over-the-counter hours.



Even small shocks are accepted as bad news, and the shaking situation is expected to continue for the time being, not only in Korea, but also in the global financial market.
