  The Guangdong Taipingling Nuclear Power Project is located in Huizhou, Guangdong. It is planned to build 6 "Hualong No. 1" nuclear power units. The first phase of the project will start construction of 2 units in 2019 and 2020.

  The dome is an important barrier for the safety of the nuclear power plant, and an important part of ensuring the integrity and sealing of the reactor building and realizing the inherent safety. Therefore, the dome hoisting has become an important milestone in the construction of the nuclear power plant.

The dome of Taipingling Nuclear Power Unit 2 is a semi-open bowl-shaped structure, which is composed of embedded parts, steel plates and angle steel welded on the outside. Safety systems and control systems are installed inside.

  The hoisting process lasted for more than 2 hours. It was necessary to hoist the dome with a weight of 225.844 tons and an area equivalent to 4 standard basketball courts to an altitude of 70 meters. , yaw under the influence of wind, thermal expansion and contraction under temperature changes are all challenges that the project team has to deal with.

  "In this dome hoisting, the project construction team adopted the overall hoisting process, and used intelligent nuclear power construction technologies such as BIM (Building Information Modeling) to perform animation simulations on the hoisting process control, find hoisting difficulties in advance and formulate solutions to ensure the dome is accurately seated. , a successful hoisting." Yan Shaohua, member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China Guangdong Nuclear Power Huizhou Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., said that the project team deeply practiced the work style of "strictness, caution and meticulousness", and held various hoisting seminars and technical disclosures more than 100 times before and after. , organized dozens of types of work to carry out 80 drills such as dome hoisting empty hook simulation, dome test hoisting, etc., combined with the good practice of the project's No. 1 unit construction, vigorously promoted the construction of steel-lined bottom plate and truncated cone integral module construction, SG compartment module construction The application of domestic first innovative technology and new technology such as the overall hoisting construction of the ring-hoisting ring-rail beam.

  After the project is completed, the annual power generation can reach 50 billion kWh, which can reduce the consumption of standard coal by 15.12 million tons and carbon dioxide emissions by 41.6 million tons each year, which is equivalent to afforestation of 113,000 hectares.
