Stock liquidity exceeds 2.3 billion dirhams in the mid-week session

The liquidity of the local stock markets exceeded the barrier of 2.3 billion dirhams at the close of trading today, most of which focused on the major stocks in the banking, finance, energy and real estate sector.


Liquidity was distributed at 1.94 billion dirhams on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, and 369.7 million dirhams in the Dubai Financial Market, after trading on 610.5 million shares, through the implementation of more than 22 thousand transactions.


The Abu Dhabi market index "FADEX 15" closed at the level of 10,070.24 points, and the Dubai General Market index closed at 3,460.52 points.

Shares of «Emaar Properties» decreased by 2.3% to reach 6.35 dirhams, with transactions of nearly 22 million shares, and the share of «Dubai Investments» decreased by 4.3% to reach 2.47 dirhams, with transactions of nearly 17 million shares.


Also, «Deyaar Development» shares decreased by 1.8% to 0.50 dirhams, with a transaction exceeding 9 million shares.

The shares of "Emirates NBD" and "Dubai Islamic" decreased by less than 1% at 12.85 dirhams and 6.12 dirhams, respectively.

The “energy” share continued its gains by more than 13.6%, amid active trading that exceeded 279.7 million dirhams, and “Multiplay” shares rose 1.6%, and “Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank” 1.53%, and “International Holdings” rose by 0.28%, topping the list The activity attracted a liquidity of about 351.3 million dirhams.


Yahsat's share increased by 1.08%, with the company announcing the distribution of temporary cash dividends of 196.6 million dirhams for the first half of 2022, to be paid by October 14, 2022, to all shareholders registered on September 30, 2022, equivalent to 8.06 fils per share.


In the Dubai market, the shares of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority “DEWA” and “TECOM” increased by 0.77% and 0.42%, respectively, and “Emaar Properties” topped the activity, attracting 139.5 million dirhams, followed by “Dubai Islamic” by about 74.18 million dirhams, and “Dubai Islamic” by about 74.18 million dirhams.
