Nicolas Dufourcq, boss of BpiFrance, was the guest this Tuesday morning of Sonia Mabrouk.

The author of the book "La déindustrialisation de la France" returned to French deindustrialisation.

A drama for France which "macerated" for 20 years, before finally regaining the hair of the beast, he underlines.

Coal, textiles, steelworks, automobiles, tires... Since the 1970s, France has continued to lose whole sections of its industries.

A dynamic that Europe particularly experienced in the 1970s, but the choices of France caused a second wave of departures from industries.

"Unlike other European countries, we experienced a second wave of deindustrialization in the 1990s," said Nicolas Dufourcq, CEO of the investment bank Bpifrance.
