Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and the World Green Economy Organization have announced that the theme of the 8th World Green Economy Summit will be “Leading Climate Action through Cooperation: The Roadmap to Achieving Carbon Neutrality”, a translation of the UAE’s vision to advance climate action and strengthen partnerships. and international efforts to achieve climate goals.
The summit, which will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on September 28 and 29, at the Dubai World Trade Center, will discuss areas of joint cooperation and exchange of experiences and knowledge between relevant authorities and international and regional institutions. from the public and private sectors, to increase the momentum of climate initiatives, and accelerate the transition towards a green economy.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and Chairman of the World Green Economy Organization, Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, will hold a press conference on the 13th of this year, to reveal the details of this year's session of the summit, which focuses on four axes: energy, finance, Food security and youth, with the participation of a group of officials, experts and specialists from around the world.
