10 billion dirhams, local stock gains in the mid-week session

The local stock markets gained about 10 billion dirhams at the end of the mid-week session, amid purchases by foreign investors, targeting the leading shares in the financial sector in the Abu Dhabi market.

The market capital of the listed shares rose from 2.62 trillion dirhams at the end of the day before yesterday's session, to 2.63 trillion dirhams at the end of yesterday's session, distributed by 2.067 trillion dirhams for shares listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, and 563.8 billion dirhams for shares listed on the Dubai Financial Market.

Local shares attracted more than 1.68 billion dirhams in liquidity, distributed by 1.37 billion dirhams in the Abu Dhabi market, and 197.15 million dirhams in the Dubai market, and about 255.1 million shares were traded through the implementation of 15.3 thousand deals.

The Abu Dhabi market index rose 0.63% to close at 9714.39 points, supported by the gains of the financial sector shares, while the Dubai Financial Market index reached the level of 3,382.31 points.

Foreign investors pumped about 110.6 million dirhams as a purchase outcome in the Abu Dhabi market, after making purchases worth 305.9 million dirhams, compared to sales of 195.2 million dirhams.

The performance of the Abu Dhabi market was enhanced by an increase in shares such as “International Holding” by 2.58%, topping the list of activity with a liquidity that exceeded 374 million dirhams, and “First Abu Dhabi” rose 0.77%, “Taqa” 0.82%, “Multiplay” 0.47%, and “Multiplay” 0.47%. Abu Dhabi Islamic » 0.34%.

In the Dubai market, "Emirates NBD" rose by 1.92%, and "Mashreq Bank" 1.26%, topping the list of activities, after attracting liquidity by about 118.8 million dirhams, while "Dewa" settled unchanged at 2.57 dirhams, attracting more than 10.5 million dirhams.
