The performance of the local stock markets varied at the end of yesterday’s session, as the Dubai Financial Market gained about 5.69 billion dirhams, while the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange index decreased slightly due to profit-taking operations, despite the continued purchases of foreigners and institutions to seize opportunities, especially in the leading shares in the real estate sector. And banks, while the total trading in the two markets amounted to 1.55 billion dirhams.

The Dubai Financial Market rose at the end of trading yesterday, with investors optimistic about the announcement of moving forward with the initial public offering of Salik.

The market capital of the listed local shares reached 2.62 trillion dirhams at the end of today's session, distributed by 2.05 trillion dirhams for shares listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, and 564.13 billion dirhams for shares listed on the Dubai Financial Market.

The Dubai market rose by 1.24% to close at 3396.11 points, with transactions worth 251 million dirhams.

Local shares attracted more than 1.59 billion dirhams of liquidity, distributed as 1.33 billion dirhams in the Abu Dhabi market and 251.29 million dirhams in the Dubai market, and about 254.6 million shares were traded through the implementation of more than 17.2 thousand transactions.

Shares of «Dubai Financial Market» increased by 0.6% to 1.69 dirhams, with trading of nearly 7 million shares.

The shares of "Dubai Islamic" and "Emirates NBD" rose by 2% to 5.86 dirhams and 13 dirhams, respectively, and the shares of "Mashreq Bank" rose by 7.3% to 79 dirhams, with trading of nearly 176 thousand shares.

The "Union Properties" share ended trading at its previous price of 0.255 dirhams, with transactions exceeding four million shares.

The most heavily traded stock was "Emaar Properties", up by 1.3% at 6.12 dirhams, with transactions exceeding 17 million shares.

While the Abu Dhabi market index declined by 0.3% to the level of 9743.47 points, due to the decline of some leading shares and transactions with a total value of 1.3 billion dirhams.
