“
We have no information on the facts of which he is accused
”, confides a French diplomatic source.
This year, Paris has already asked for his release "
so that he can live a normal life in Jerusalem where he was born and where he resides
," said the Quai d'Orsay.
Salah Hamouri

A controversial measure
This human rights activist, defender of the Palestinian cause, was previously imprisoned between 2005 and 2011 in Israel for participating in the attempted assassination of an Israeli religious and political leader.
Administrative detention, a controversial measure, allows the Jewish state's military justice system to incarcerate suspects without formal charges.
Its maximum duration is six months.
But it is
renewable indefinitely.
