Emirates Airlines carried more than 10 million passengers during the summer

Emirates, the world's largest international carrier, carried more than 10 million passengers on about 35,000 flights to 130 destinations during the summer.

Emirates Airlines, which was anticipating a strong return to summer travel, worked early in cooperation with its airport partners to operate its regular flights, reduce any movement disruptions and meet the demand of customers to join their vacations and planned trips for tourism and visit families and friends around the world.

Emirates also ramped up its customer service operations during the popular summer season, bringing back daily service to London Stansted and increasing flights to 33 cities in the summer on major routes across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, as well as favorite holiday destinations such as Seychelles, Maldives, Mexico and Miami.

Last June, Emirates added Tel Aviv to its global network.

Last July, it added a third daily flight to London Gatwick to serve passengers affected by capacity cuts at London Heathrow.

Emirates Airlines has reopened and operated 32 of its premium lounges, including 25 private lounges at major airports across its network of routes to provide frequent travelers, first class and business travelers with a haven of rest and recovery during their flights.

It has also brought back free shuttle services to and from its brand's airports with Chauffeur Drive's chauffeur-drive service for first and business customers in the majority of the cities it serves.

Passengers benefited from Emirates’ investments in digital services and initiatives to reduce waiting times and facilitate the flow and transportation of customers through the airport to complete their travel procedures and go to their destinations smoothly.
