From Sakhalin 2, eight major power and gas companies, including Tokyo Gas, have procured LNG under long-term contracts, and in August, a new company established by the Russian government issued a notice to each company requesting them to sign new contracts. was delivered.

Regarding this, Tokyo Gas and Kyushu Electric Power revealed that they had signed a contract to procure LNG with the new company by the 30th.



Among them, Tokyo Gas says that the main conditions will continue to be procured without changing.



The company has not disclosed the detailed terms of the contract, but so far it has signed a contract to purchase 1.1 million tons per year, which is about 10% of the company's LNG import volume.



Regarding Sakhalin 2, TEPCO and Chubu Electric Power's JERA, which has procured up to 2 million tons of LNG annually, has already signed a contract, and other major power and gas companies have also signed new contracts. It is believed that the company will enter into a contract.
