Expo City Dubai welcomes visitors at Terra, Alef and Al Thuraya Park on September 1, 2022

Expo City Dubai has announced the start of receiving visitors at three of its distinctive destinations: Alef Mobility Pavilion, Terra Sustainability Pavilion, and Al Thuraya Park, starting next Thursday (September 1, 2022), as part of the city’s readiness to receive visitors in Many distinguished destinations on October 1, to continue what Expo 2020 Dubai has achieved in inspiring future generations.

The TERRA Sustainability Pavilion presents a world-class example of the highest standards and sustainable practices in design and architecture, encouraging visitors to re-evaluate their relationship to the environment on an immersive journey to the bottom of the oceans and deep in the forests.

While the Alf - Mobility Pavilion will transport visitors through time and into the future to discover the pivotal role of mobility in the process of human progress, and how each of us has a role in creating a better future through our choices.  

The entrance ticket for each suite is 50 dirhams, and 30 dirhams for Al Thuraya Park. Tickets will be available for purchase online at

www.expocitydubai.com,

and will be available at four ticket outlets distributed throughout the city of Expo Dubai from September 1.

Entry will be free for people of determination and for children 12 years of age or younger.

The Terra Sustainability Pavilion and Alef Mobility Pavilion will be open daily from 10 am to 6 pm, while the Al Thuraya Garden, which is 55 meters high and provides a captivating panoramic view of the city’s landmarks, will be open from 3 pm to 6 pm and from the middle of next month its working hours will be from 10 am to six pm.

Other popular landmarks at Expo 2020 Dubai - including Al Wasl Plaza, Vision Pavilion, Women's Pavilion, surreal waterfalls and children's play areas - are set to open in October.

Later this year, the Opportunity Pavilion will transform into the Expo 2020 Dubai Museum, a new addition that highlights the history and impact of the World Expo, and celebrates the success of the international event.

Expo City Dubai is also looking forward to the return of school students, as the Expo Schools Program

has prepared an impressive and inspiring set of educational experiences, exhibitions and interactive workshops at the Expo City pavilions designed to provide a rich educational and entertainment experience centered around the themes of the pavilions.

Entry to the Dubai Expo is free and a large part of the public spaces will be open for picnics at no charge.

Visitors can use the services available such as buggies, the Expo explorer train, electric scooters and electric bicycles for a fee.   



Expo City Dubai is easily accessible by metro, taxi and private cars. Car parks, including dedicated car parks for People of Determination, are available in the Al Fursan, Jubilee, Mobility and Sustainability areas. More detailed information about parking can be found from September 1
